It is with great excitement that I write to you today. Within the past few weeks, I have been offered the chance to travel the country and do my shows in other cities. I've kept this a secret because I wanted to make sure it was a definite transition that I was ready to make. I've given this tremendous thought and many hours of prayer and I decided I was going to go thru with it.
As many of you know, my girlfriend, Mandy, is a Nurse. She was offered a position as a Traveling Nurse, meaning she will be moving every four to eight months. She has asked me to make this journey with her and I have accepted. I feel that this is a chance to do the things I love most - travel, doing shows in other cities and living with two women... (Her friend Amber, also a Nurse, will be traveling with us... "Come and knock on our door...")
Anyway, if this works, I will be able to set up shows and put together a staff to work them in the different cities - thus, letting my company grow. If it fails, I will at least be able to say I tried!
As far as the shows here, Gaetano's and The Green Room. My Brother-n-Law, David, will be the new Artistic Director. He will be directing the shows as well as casting them and making the schedules. David and I will be in daily contact and working together if any problems arise. However, I have given him the authority to make the decisions necessary to run the business.
I will still be handling ALL the reservations and day to day office work. (Marketing, reservations, Accounting, private parties, Website updates, business contacts, contracts, etc.)

Okay, I guess that's it! Oh, I'm leaving on Sunday for Kansas City, MO. I'll be there until June. I don't know where I'll be after that but I'll keep you posted and you're going to be hearing from me anyway. I'll also have to fly back here once a month for medical treatments so, you'll see me then. When I'm here, I'll stop in to see the shows. I may also be directing a few shows for some local theatres so, I'll be here for that also.
