What a night! I don't usually write about good things in my life but this is one of those rare times. First off - please forgive me for I am very drunk - I had my usual Saturday night show at the Comedy club - which went very well, thank you - I stayed after my show to watch the stand up show. One of my favorite comics - Steve Seagren was the headliner. You may know him from Comedy Central, Still Standing, Arrested Development, Cold Case or Everybody Hates Chris. (www.steveseagren.com)
Last New Years Eve - Steve was the headliner for the club when I had my New Years Eve show - and that is when I first met him. He was a very nice guy and we shared stories and laughs - not to mention a lot of Scotch! Well, this time around I started to talk to him about working in LA and how to get an agent and the who's and what's of Hollywood. He gave me a lot of insight and I have realized that I will only truly fail if I never try. So, with his help - I have decided to return from my hiatus and return to acting - only this time it will be for television and film. He has given me the tools and know-how of whom, what and when. So, over the nest few years - I will be giving acting another shot - I will be going to LA in the near future - armed with my foot in the door with his connections - and try to "make it" in the world of acting. I did it once before and I hope to achieve again.
Maybe it's the Scotch talking but I have a good feeling about this......
